Mumbai Metro - Ridership and Service Distruption

We filed an RTI to know about the ridership and service disruption at Mumbai Metro.

1. Mumbai Metro maximum ridership recorded on a single day was 31,12,215.
2. Mumbai Metro minimum ridership recorded on a single day was 64,522.
3. Metro service was disrupted two times in last one year (2014 - 2015)Reasons for Disruption
   1. Damage to potential transformer on Main Line at Km no 6/47 near Metro station on UP track (14th June 2014)
   2. Interruption in traction supply (30th March 2015)
